Play Factory

Play Factory is a editor of Board games based with Paris in France which repurchased part of the credits of the company Darwin Project. He is also the editor of Magazines specialized in the plays like Black Lotus, White Dragon or Maniak, of goodies Magic the Gathering (posters, calendars, carrying case), as well as a distributer of Card decks to collect in kiosk.

History

Play Factory was created in October 2005 by Jean François Andreani (ex police chief of the Salon of the Toy) to take again part of the activity of the company Darwin Project. The company is first of all centered on the edition of the Magazines specialized on the card decks to collect: Black Lotus in Monthly, the historical magazine which speaks mainly about Magic the Gathering. And Two-monthly Maniak in , which treats plays for young people: Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc In March 2006, the company launches a third magazine into two-monthly on the plays to be collected: White Dragon with articles mainly on Yu-Gi-Oh! , more didactic to learn how to play and involve themselves for these first tournaments. The edition of Plays and Goodies begins at the end of 2006, by taking again part of the catalog of Darwin Project and several plays under license Avalon Hill and Wizards off the Coast.

Magazines

Black Lotus (since the n°87, October 2005), the official magazine of the card decks to be collected. Monthly. Lotus Noir is the oldest magazine on the plays to be collected, it treats today mainly plays Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and World off Warcraft, of which it also publishes the dimension of the charts.
Maniak! (since the n° December 30th, th and th 2005), Two-monthly magazine which covers the topicality of the plays to be collected for young people, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Z, etc
White Dragon (1st number in March 2006), two-monthly magazine to learn how to control the sets of crats to collect Yu-Gi-Oh! , Naruto and Magic.
Play Factory publishes also regularly except series for each one of its magazines dedicated to a play to collect, its rules, its best charts, etc
the Gazetteer is a free newspaper with irregular publication carried out for Wizards off the Coast, the editor of Magic, to promote the Grand Prix and Pro Turn Européen of Magic and the exit of new handsets like Dreamblade or The Eye off Judgment.
