Plate (theater)

In the jargon of the theater, the term plate can take several directions:
- for the actor S, the plate indicates commonly the ground of the Scène and of the Coulisse S. By extension, the place of turning of a film or an emission is also called plate
- for the public or dramatic criticisms, the plate is also the whole of the Distribution of a spectacle
- from the financial point of view, in a theatrical production, the cost of the plate indicates the whole of the wages necessary for a representation.
