Plasmodium vivax
The Plasmodium vivax is the most frequent cause of the benign third fever, one of the forms of the Paludisme still called malaria. It is less virulent than the P. falciparum , and is seldom mortal.
The incubation period of the infection usually extends from 10-17 days, but sometimes until a year. The crises of fever created by the plasmodium vivax are scouring.
