Planet operated
The Planet Opera is a kind of Science-fiction also called planetary lovesong.
Definition
With the difference of the Space operated , kind of science fiction which reports adventures proceeding in space, the planet opera (literally, “planetary opera”) has as a decoration a foreign planet with the diverting and mysterious characteristics that the principal characters have the role of exploring and to discover under all its aspects (fauna, flora, resources). Some Planet Opera takes seat from the point of view of a futuristic culture where displacement between planets by voyage space is common; of other, particularly the last examples in date, describe astral projections and another methods to travel of planet to planet. In all the cases it is the adventure being held on the planet which is in the center of the intrigue and not the mode of displacement.
Planet Opera makes it possible more closely to be interested in the sociological aspects , economic, even anthropological, on a scale more human than of other types of science fiction.
The tendency to follow the evolution of planet on several hundreds to see thousands of years also allows a certain setting in scene of the Civilization S and their evolution.
