Plan of noise exposure
The Plan of noise exposure is in France a document of Urbanisme which aims at a controlled development of the communes around the AƩroport S without theoretically exposing to the noise of new populations. (A hundred area of Europes are concerned with diurnal takeoffs or atterissages night and/or of large planes, because of the presence of large airports).
Written by the services of the head office of the civil aviation of the ministry in charge of transport, it is subjected to Public survey and fixes for 10 to 15 years the conditions of use of the grounds exposed to noise pollutions, on the basis of exploratory study;
- of the development of the flying activity,
- of extension of the infrastructures
- of possible modifications of the procedures of air traffic.
limits
- it does not relate to existing constructions nor the populations already installed.
- it does not relate to the impacts on the fauna disturbed by the noise
- the prospective evaluations of air transport always showed underestimated compared to the real evolutions
