Plan of assistance to the return to employment
The Plan of assistance to the return to employment ( AVOIDS ) is a key element of the convention of insurance unemployment applied since July 2001. It is about an engagement signed between the Chômeur and the Assedic all to implement so that this one finds an employment quickly.
It represents an evolution of the missions of the insurance unemployment into a contractualisation of the relations between the applicant for work and Assedic. Those are not restricted any more to pour a returned of replacement to the applicant for work; they help it to return towards employment within the framework of a project defined with him.

the Projet Personalized of Access to Employment (PPAE) replaces from now on AVOIDS it for the registered unemployeds starting from January 18th, 2006 (stopped of bearing February 23rd, 2006 approval of the convention of January 18th, 2006).
