Plakine

The plakines are a family of Protéine S “of structure”, i.e. which binds the cellular membranes to the intermediate filaments of the skeleton of the cells, with the filaments of Actine and Microtubule S. It contributes to rigidify the cell S and maintain the coherence of fabrics.

They contribute to the solidity and the flexibility of bodies such as the skin or the mucous membranes which are effective barriers against the majority of the aggressions, while remaining permeable (with the circulation of gas or the white globules for example).
