Plainville is a city located in the Comté of Hartford, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, Plainville had a total population of 17.328 inhabitants.

According to the Census of 2000, there were 17.328 inhabitants, 7.385 households, and 4.645 families in the city. The Population density was of 685,5 hab/km ².
