Plain Protestant church of Belgium

the plain Protestant Church of Belgium (EPUB) is heiress of the recognition of sound Synode by the Belgian State in 1839 and it is the fruit of the union, in 1978, of the principal spiritual families Protestant present in Belgium. Until 2003, the Belgian State recognized the Synod of the Plain Protestant Church of Belgium like “only ecclesiastical authority” of all the Protestant Churches of Belgium. It is also member of the world reformed Alliance.

The EPUB gathers communities dispersed in all the country. These parishes recognize heiresses of those which confessed their faith in various texts of reference, since the Symbole of the Apostles until the Catéchisme of Heidelberg while passing by the Symbole of Nicée-Constantinople and the Confessio Belgica of Guy de Brès, and they register their faith in the tradition of the Churches resulting from the Réforme of the 16th century.

The Plain Protestant Church of Belgium is placed under the authority of the Holy Scriptures, which it receives by the Holy Spirit like Word of God, supreme its faith and of its life regulates.

Administrative counsel of the Protesting Worship and Évangélique (CACPE)

Since 2003, the Belgian state recognizes like representative of Belgian Protestantism the CACPE (Administrative counsel of the Protesting Worship and Evangélique) which is composed of two branch: the federal synod (which represents the evangelic Protestant churches amongst other things) and connects it EPUB and partners.

Protesting service of Youth (SPJ)

The Protesting Service of Youth (SPJ) is an Youth organization recognized by the French Community of Belgium and is the French-speaking commission youth of the EPUB. The SPJ proposes a formation with animation making it possible to obtain a Patent of Organizer of Vacation centres (BACV).
