Plague of 1720
The plague of 1720 indicates an epidemic of plague which has occurred in Provence and which caused the death of most of the population. Imported with Marseilles by the ship the Large-Saint-Antoine, ordered by Jean-Baptiste Chataud, the May 25th 1720, it extended quickly to all Provence.
