The place Saint-Lambert is located at the center of the town of Liege. The place Saint-Lambert was occupied until in 1794 by old the Cathédrale Our-Lady-and-Saint-Lambert. After the destruction of the cathedral at the time of the Revolution inhabitant of Li2ege by the inhabitants of Li2ege themselves, it became the principal place of the city.
