Place André Allègre
The place André Allègre is the principal place of Londe the Moors (Var, France), located at the crossing of the large arteries of the city. Attended by the tourists and the children and parents of the school Jean Jaurès it concentrates the principal municipal authorities.
Geographical location
The place is located in the middle of the city. It is bordered in the west by the axis formed by the streets Joseph Laure and Maréchal Foch, in the east by the street Aristide Perrin, in north by the street Dixmude and finally in the south by the Azan boulevard.
Structure
The place is made of a first plate in height, opposite the Town hall, connected by staircases to a second level rammed itself joined to the street Joseph Laure by a new series of staircases.
First Level
It is articulated around the fountain of the place, then in a concentric way, the Banc S and the large flowers stand are laid out, making the place particularly pleasant.
Second Level
It is a vast esplanade with the reason for checkerwork bordered by plane trees. On the southern part, benches and flowers stand are also laid out.
Surrounding buildings
On the east coast, the Town hall imposes its silhouette. In the west, one finds the school Jean Jaurès and the n°6, a beautiful building hidden by a large palm tree. In north and the south, finally, the provençaux buildings shelter many trade.
