Tourism, curiosities, history

The city in it even does not present private interest, recent constructions rather make of it a dormitory town in suburbs of Saint-Brieuc.

The church of the center many altered time is characteristic with its Clocher of 1651 provided with a bell going back to 1670.

But it is especially its situation in seaside (which is worth name Plérin-on-sea to him) which ensures the attraction of this commune (13 km of coast, 2,5 km of beach).

The balneal site of the " Rosaires" located at the North-East of the commune between the point of the Shelves and the point of Pordic, proposes a rather great sand beach end and a long arranged dam.

The point of Roselier which overhangs " Martin plage" and its rock as well as the beach of the St. Lawrence, offers a very beautiful sight on bay of Saint-Brieuc and cliffs neighbouring. One also finds there a spur barred which testify to one occupation at the iron age, a furnace with balls (of gun) going back to 1794 and a monument with perished at sea set up at the end of the 20th century.

A walk on the port with lock S of Bequeathed, whose installation is the recent improvement object, makes it possible to discover some and pleasure boats fishing.

You can also see in the borough close to the church the statue of booby (young high-school pupil died in 1991) knew for its chance (pronocée shatte in the Breton patois of the corner) and its famous technique of the parachutte.
