Pléioné

The Pleiones are one of Orchidée S terrestrial, originating in China.

They form pseudobulbes with single sheet. In spring of each pseudobulbe emerges a growth with sheet and single flower which after flowering develops new a pseudobulbe. the sheet disappears with the autumn and the plant enters in dormancy until next spring.

In France the culture is possible in alpine greenhouse with the shelter of freezing, and even very easily in apartment, on the condition of respecting one period of winter rest (fresh and dry).
