The Pizzo della Presolana is a top of the the Alps, to 2521 m, in the the Alps bergamasks, in Italy (Lombardy).

The principal summits, made up of rocks Calcareous S, form a chain including/understanding of west in east: Presolana di Castione (2474 m), Presolana del Prato (2447 m), Presolana Western (the most raised, 2521 m), Presolana power station (2517 m), Presolana Eastern (2490 m) and Assemble it Visolo (2369 m).

The southernmost slope (Castione della Presolana), in particular on the side of the collar of Presolana presents a relatively soft slope, while the septentrional slope (Colere) is practically vertical.

From the point of view of the alpinism, Pizzo della Presolana is probably the most important mountain of the Province of Bergamo, although it is not highest (title which returns to the Pizzo di Coca, to 3052 m) and in spite of the fact that the rise by the normal way is relatively simple. The reason is that it however presents a big number of ways, share their difficulty and their variety, but also because it leave relatively low in the valley, which facilitates the access of them, in particular during the winter. The Western summit was climbed for the first time in 1879 per Carlo Médecins, Frederic Frizzoni and Antonio Curò, founder of the section bergamask of the Italian alpine Committee.

On its sides many installations for the practice of the winter sports are established, in particular the Alpine skiing.
