Pivot-on-Sea
the Pivot-on-Sea is a common French, located in the department of the the Vendée and the area Pays of the Loire.
Its inhabitants is them Aiguillonnais.
Geography
Commune located on the mouth envasée of the Lay in edge of the drained Marshes Saint-Michel-in-the Herm and separated from the littoral by the broad dune cord on which is located the commune of the Fault-on-Sea.
History
The commune is located on a narrow sand offshore bar which lengthens constantly since the 17th century.
