But the principal curiosity of this building lies in the cupboard disproportionate reliquary for this small building. That is justified by the importance of the relics which remained there and the Ameline archdeacon gives us a description dated July 11th 1673 (CARAN dimensions L 28):

“The cupboard reliquary was closed by a double door: An iron grid whose priest held the key and a strong door out of wooden controlled by the marguillier. Inside were: An arm out of gilded wooden, containing a bone of the arm of St Etienne, wrapped of a red satin fabric with an inscription " very antique" but without title. Another small reliquary separated into 4 and which contained relics of co. Marguerite and still several relics very old without title nor inscription. Two chiefs out of wooden gilded in one of which is the very whole head of St Saw which some fragments were taken. In the other chief is the head of St Modeste, separated and broken into two. The head of St Modeste had been cut into 2 because it was habit for St Guy, on June 15th, to soak the relics in water and to make drink this water with the patients. Those, with saying of the priest, tested a great relief. On this occasion the Relique S were carried in procession in the village. With the top of the reliquary an escutcheon in form of double sack to the weapons of the Kingdom of France is. ”
