Piton of Enchaing
The piton of Enchaing is a mountainous top of the island of the Réunion, Overseas department of the Indian Ocean. Culminating with: 1356 meters of altitude, it occupies the center of the natural Cirque of Salazie, which it overhangs. It owes its name with the maroon Esclave legendary called Anchaing, which would have chosen it for refuge in its escape.
