• In the scene of beating up of Marlon Brando, to exacerbate its violence, the director required of the actors to give punches to the idle - their impact being null, the blows thus did not wound the actor. The scene was then passed of normal speed what makes the blows given more impressive and still suggests a more inexpressible brutality.
