Piteşti

Piteşti is a city located at the south of the Romania, on the Argeş, in the Judeţ de Argeş. Its population was of 168.000 inhabitants in 2003.

There exists an automobile factory Dacia (repurchased by Renault), built in 1968 with Colibaşi, close to Piteşti. This factory, after having in particular manufactured cars on the model of the Renault 12 of 1969 to 2004, currently produces the Dacia Logan truck and MCV (Multi Convivial Vehicle) (station-wagon).
