The pisciculture is one of the branches of the Aquaculture which indicates the breeding Poisson S. This breeding is practiced in spaces entirely or partially closed (basins out of concrete or plastic, bow nets or cages giant, etc) either in Fresh water, or into full Mer according to the species.

By analogy with the culture of the plants, fishing can be compared with the gathering while pisciculture represents the culture of a field.
