Pisauridae

Of the Pisauridae gathers large Araignée S with long legs. The two forefeet (I and II) are generally held brought closer one to the other at the time of the rest. The family is very similar to the Lycosidae, but is characterized some by its more modest size.

The male of Pisauridae captures a prey which it offers, wrapped in silk, to his female as a dowry of marriage, one says, and more prosaically not to undoubtedly be used to him as prey. The females make large Cocon S which they transport in the Chélicère S or under the Sternum.
