Pipa (Amphibian)
Pipa is an Amphibian. It belongs to the family of Pipidés and in the order of the Anoura. The Latin name of this animal is " Pipa Pipa" and in English, " Surinam Toad ". The female can measure up to 20 cm, that is to say 5 cm more than the male which can measure up to 15 cm. The longevity of this animal is 8 years. We find Pipa in South America in the following countries: Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. It is neither an animal protected nor a threatened animal. Pipa is a solitary animal except for the reproduction. However, he saw in community if he is in captivity. Pipa nourishes especially fish and shellfish. It is oviparous animal and can have very nearly 100 eggs.
