Pip of Italy

Pip born in 777, died with Milan the July 8th 810, is king of Lombards of 781 with 810, and wire of Charlemagne, king of the Francs Empereur of Occident and Hildegarde de Vintzgau.
Baptized by the Pope Adrien Ier under the first name of Carloman , it changes its name into Pip when it receives the iron crown of the king de Lombardie, the April 15th 781. However, because of its young age, his/her father the place under the supervision of Adalhard, abbot of Corbie.
In 793, Pépin of Italy attacks Lombard Grimoald, duke of Bénévent, which refuses to be subjected to its authority. The February 6th 806 in Thionville, at the time of the project of division of its empire after its death, Charlemagne, assure him the possession of Italy with in more the Bavaria and the Carinthie. In 810, it subjects Dalmatian cities and Venice, but dies shortly after.
Descendants
He did not marry. Of a union with Chrothais, probably near relationship to Adalhard, it would have had:
- Bernard, king d' Italie, ancestor of the family of the Herbertiens.
- several girls, who do not appear to be themselves married: Adelaide, Adulated, Goundrade, Berthe and Théodrade.
