Piotr Lavrovitch Lavrov
Piotr Lavrovitch Lavrov (in Russian ПётрЛавровичЛавров ) (1823 - 1900) is a writer Russian Nihiliste and Sociologue.
Resulting from a family of the area of Pskov, he becomes mathematics professor with Saint-Pétersbourg at the age of twenty and one years. He collaborates in the Russian encyclopedic Dictionary (1864).
Influenced by Nicolaï Tchernychevski, it adheres to the movement Zemlja I Volja ( Ground and Liberté ). It is stopped following an attack in 1866. Deportee, it sends to the review Nedelja ( the Week ) his historical Lettres (1869) under the name of Mirtov .
In 1870, he flees with Paris and affiliates with the First International. He takes share with the Commune of which he one of is delegated to Brussels and with London. He takes refuge with Geneva where he creates the review Vpered ( Ahead ).
In 1877, of return to Paris, it founds the Messenger of the will of the people , re-examined in whom it preaches the abandonment of terrorism. In 1882 it is expelled of France to have created a company of help to the political prisoners and Russian deportees. He collaborates in Matériaux for the history of the socialist movement (1892-1896). With its death, he worked with a philosophical work, Essai on the history of the thought in modern times .
