Pio Fedi (Viterbe, 1816 - Florence, 1892) is an Italian sculptor.

Formed with Accademia di Belle Arti, he visits then Vienna, during two years, of 1837 to 1838, which will enrich then its projects.

To Florence, where clashes two currents in sculpture, it follows initially the line Puriste for then approaching the ideal Réalisme .

Its workshop was in a closed down church, via dei Serragli, still located today like the Gallery Pio Fedi.

It carves two sculptures for the gallery of full-length portraits of the great men of the Piazzale of the Offices, Nicola Pisano (signed) and Andrea Cesalpino , but its most known work is the Viol of Polyxène , single modern sculpture selected to appear in the Loggia dei Lanzi (1866).
