The Pinzgauer a bovine race Austrian.
Origin
It is resulting from the family of the Pie red of the mountains. She comes from Salzburg in Austria, but developed in Bavaria and in the Italian Haut-Adige. She seems to have received blood of Swedish cows at the time of the Guerre Thirty Year old.
Morphology
It is a race of black and white dress red, with red dominating. The head is almost always red. A white line leaves the throat, skirts the belly, the bottom and finishes on the dorsal line.Elle is of intermediate size, 130 cm with the garrot, and weighs 550-650 kg. The bull can reach 1100 kg.
