Pinot miller
The Miller or Pinot Meunier is a Cépage red, primarily present in the vineyard of Champagne (one the third of Champagne represents encepagement) in France. It is the typical type of vine of AOC Orleans.
It is a seedling of average strength. It resists rather well cold of winter and is liked rather well in clay soils and wet. Its wine is coloured little, less fine and less alcoholic that of the black Pinot. Its Arôme S is fruity (Banane, Framboise, Pomme).
It is classified recommended in Champagne, in the vineyard of the Val-de-Loire and in Burgundy.
