Pino III Ordelaffi
Pino III Ordelaffi (1440 - 1480 is noble Italian who lived at the 15th century, he belongs to the family of the Ordelaffi of the town of Forli.
Wire of Antonio I Ordelaffi and Caterina Rangoni di Spilamberto, he was the brother of Francesco IV Ordelaffi. He was lord of Forlì of 1448 to his death.
In 1462 it married Barbara Manfredi (dead in 1466), girl of Astorre II Manfredi, lord of Faenza then Zaffira Manfredi (dead in 1473) girl of Tadeo Manfredi and finally Lucrezia Pico della Mirandola.
In 1463 Pino fell sick, his/her brother Francesco was suspecté to have poisoned it, but Pino is restored. In 1466, it was with the turn of Francesco to fall sick, Barbara Manfredi trying to poison it, in vain. Francesco was then imprisoned with his wife Elisabeth Manfredi then finishes assassinated by a officier.
Pino seized the city and became lord of Forli and Forlimpopoli with the assistance of Venice.
Shortly after Barbara had an love affair aves a member of the course of Forli, Giovanni Orceoli, both died quickly, probably poisoned on order of Pino. Astorre II Manfredi suspecta Pino to be at the origin of dead of his/her daughter and entered in conflict with lui.
Pino sought then an alliance with Taddeo Manfredi, lord of Imola and rival of Astorre, to resist the ambitions of Astorre which, with the assistance of the Pope, sought to expel it Forli.

Pino was a patron for the town of Forli, it made there build many buildings, and also made finish the construction of the walls of the city and reinforce the château.
It ordered a monument with Francesco di Simone Ferrucci for the tomb of his Barbara wife. This monument is still visible in the Abbaye of San Mercuriale with Forlì.
