The apple Pink Lady is a Pomme to be crunched, rather firm with the tooth, and very sweetened with a typical pink coloring.

It is acted in fact of a selection of best apples of the variety Cripps Pink sold under the Registered trademark " Pink Lady".

The Cripps Pink is a Cultivar very running in the Northern hemisphere. It was created by John Cripps, " Executive Chief Officer off the Department off Agriculture Australia" Western; Apple and Pear Australia Limited based with Stoneville in Australia in 1979 by crossing enters the Pomme Lady Williams and the Golden delicious apple delicious.

Culture

These varieties require one long period of growth under hot climate, which makes them even impossible difficult to cultivate under moderate latitudes. They thus are primarily produced in Australia and New Zealand. Pink Lady is particularly popular with the the United Kingdom or it accounts for 10% of the market in 2005.

The variety requires few extinction and few Arcure but it is very sensitive to the Tavelure of the apple tree and the ashy Puceron of the apple tree.
