Pilocarpine

Origin: The pilocarpine is a Alcaloïde extracted the sheets from Jaborandi ( Pilocarpus pennatifolius Lemaire or Pilocarpus microphyllus ), of the family of the Rutacée S. It is used like Parasympathicomimétique, causing for example a Myosis when it is used by way Oculaire.

One can use it as oral treatment of the Xérostomie Iatrogène, following Radiothérapie in the area of the neck.
