The Pilgrimage of Shikoku (四国八十八箇所 - Shikoku Hachijūhakkasho ) is a pilgrimage carried out on the island of Shikoku to the Japan and which includes/understands 88 temples. It is long 1200 km and the pilgrims who do it entirely with foot put between 30 and 60 days to finish it. Today it is rather made in a few days (the pilgrims stop only in the principal temples) using bicycles, bus and cars. The pilgrims are called henro and those which stop in all the temples are called o-henro-san (お遍路さん).
