Piledriver
The Piledriver ( power hammer in French) is the name of a taken wrestling. This catch is mainly used in the professional fight, but it is possible to see piledrivers in certain combat of Ultimate Fighting Championship. The goal of a piledriver is to cause one KB complete of the adversary.
This one usually applies by blocking the head of its adversary between its thighs, by forcing it to lean forwards, then by making a good for then dropping itself sitted, the head of the adversary coming thus directly into contact with the ground.
This catch can thus be very dangerous, and is banished WWE since the accident of Stone Cold Steve Austin at the time of its combat against Owen Hart in 1997. After a Piledriver Reverse, the head of Steve Austin struck the mattress of the boxing ring violently, paralyzing it temporarily. In spite of that, the combat continued, which worsened the state of the neck and the spinal column of the all-in wrestler. This accident is probably one of the causes of the almost complete retirement of Steve Austin, which was at the time the fighter babyface who filled more the arenas. Only certain fighters veterans like The Undertaker, Mick Foley still have the right to practice this catch.
