Pilatus PC-7
Design
Conceived in Swiss by
Pilatus Aircraft, the PC-7 Turbo-Trainer was introduced on the market in
1978 as a plane of drive for the formation of the pilot
military, in particular in the fields of acrobatics and the
instrument flying.
Engagements
The PC-7 is currently in service in a score of country.
In the Années 1990 a polemic made rage in Switzerland concerning a possible classification of this plane as “a weaponry”, which would have prevented its export towards countries in war or considered as tel.
The partisans of a limitation of his export argued that although delivered without armament, it could easily be modified by the countries purchasers to embark a machine-gun, even bombs.
It would have been in particular committed in
Burma, with the
Mexico and the
Guatemala.
