Pigs one the Wing
Pigs one the Wing is a song in two parts of the group Pink Floyd, which opens and firm the album Animals , left in 1977.
These two parts form a contrast marked with the three other songs of the album, cynical and misanthropic: contrary, Pigs one the Wing suggests that to be accompanied can help us to overcome our weaknesses. Roger Waters affirmed, in various interviews, that it was about a declaration of love to his wife.
Their construction is simple, with for only instrument a acoustic Guitare held by Waters.
On the version in Cartridge 8 tracks of the album, parts 1 and 2 were bound by a bridge to the guitar interpreted by Snowy White. This last played the solo of guitar at the end of part 2 during the round Animals , during which the song was also interpreted by the battery, the rhythmic guitars and the keyboards.
