Pietro Rizzuto
Pietro Rizzuto was a Canadian politician, born with Cattolica Eraclea in Sicily in 1934 and died in Montreal with the Quebec, Canada 1997. Married to Pina Rizzuto, it or several children: Melina, Alfonso and Maria Christina.
Arrived at 20 years at Canada, he is the founder of the company of public works Inter State Paving Inc. This company built in particular the Viaduc of the Harmony of Laval, which collapsed in 2004, making five dead.
In 1976, it was named with the Canadian Senate by the Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau like representative of the senatorial division of Repentigny to Quebec. It was thus first italo-canadien named with the Senate. He was regarded by the Prime Minister Jean Chrétien as a " old man and expensive ami".
He was decorated about the merit of the Italian Republic.
