Pietro Lorenzetti (or Pietro Laurati ) (His, ~1280 - His, 1348) Sienan is a painter 14th century.

Lorenzetti was active between 1306 and 1345 approximately. It was influenced by Giovanni Pisano and Giotto and worked at the sides of Simone Martini with Assise. With his brother Ambrogio Lorenzetti, it contributed to introduce the naturalism into Sienan art, leaving the Byzantine attributes of this time, with Giotto and their following Bernardo Daddi and Maso di Banco.

One of its last work is the Nativité of the Virgin (1342) preserved at the Museo dell' Opera Metropolitana del Duomo. Its masterpiece is one of the frescos of the lower church of the basilica Saint-François of Base, the Arrivée of Christ to Jerusalem .
