Pietro Giovanni Guarneri

Pietro Giovanni Guarneri (* February 18th 1655 with Casement bolt - † March 26th 1720 with Mantoue) was a Italian Luthier .

Oldest son of Andrea Guarneri was a violin maker more perfectionist than his father, but also an excellent violonist and altist in the vault of the court of Gonzaga. Its instruments carry the label " Petrus Guarnerius Cremonensis filius Andrea fecit Mantuae sub tit. Sanctae Theresia" .
