Pietro Bordino is a racing driver born with Turin (Italy) the November 22nd 1887 and died in Alexandria the April 16th 1928. Pietro was one of the largest Italian pilots of its time, with Felice Nazzaro and Antonio Ascari.

The accident
It was testing a
Bugatti for a race when, suddenly, a dog crossed the road. Run up against full whip, the animal blocked itself in the engine of Bugatti.
Pietro Bordino lost the control of its Bugatti and finishes its race in a ditch, covered with 1 meter of water. Pietro Bordino mouru following the serious wounds of which it was the victim during this test.
