Pierrefort

Pierrefort is a common French, located in the department of the Cantal and the area Auvergne.

Geography

Pierrefort is located between 800 and 1100m altitude within the southernmost part of the department. With approximately 15km, one reaches the department close to Aveyron.

Climate

Snow is present in abundance the majority of the winters. During the summer period, it can be very hot there. Pierrefort profits from a beautiful sunning throughout the year.
