Pierre of the Rocks (death in 1238) is bishop of Winchester under the reigns of Jean of England and its son Henry III. Rocks is not an English, but a Poitevin.

Towards the end of the reign of Richard I {{er}}, Roches becomes Lord Chambellan and an influential adviser. At the beginning of 1205, thanks to the unfluence of Jean, he is elected with the head office of Winchester. Its election is disputed but, in call, it is confirmed by the pope Innocent III, which honors Roches by devoting it in person the March 24th 1206 This promotion is justified by fidelity with which Roches supported the king during the first war of the barons.
