Pierre de Gaulle

Pierre de Gaulle , born the March 22nd 1897 in Paris (7th), dead the December 26th 1959 with Neuilly-sur-Seine, is resistant and a French politician to Paris. He is the brother of the Général de Gaulle

He makes studies of right and political sciences then enters the Banque of the Parisian Union in 1921 of which he becomes deputy manager of the Lyons branch.

April 20th, 1926, he marries Madeleine Delepouve (1908-1974) of which he will have 5 children: Chantal, Olivier, Veronique, Rene and Alain.

He takes part in the First World War (second lieutenant in artillery), then at the Second (commander of an artillery battery). He takes part in Resistance with " those of Libération". Decree on March 16th, 1943 at the time of a stay near its family with Neuilly, it is imprisoned during spring and the summer at Seek-Midday then in Fresnes and finally off-set in the camp of Eisenberg, close to Karlovy Vary in Bohemia (currently as a Czech Republic). The Allies release it at the end of the war, it returns to Paris on May 12th, 1945 and takes again its activity in the bank.

His/her brother incites it to take part in the adventure of the Rassemblement of French people (RPF). He is elected with the Municipal council Paris in 1947 and chairs the municipal assembly of the capital until in 1951. He is member of the Conseil of the Republic of 1948 to 1951 then seat like RPF/URAS with the National Assembly of 1951 to 1956. In the two assemblies, it chairs parliamentary group RPF then URAS. It is announced in particular by a support to the laws suggested by André Marie and Charles Barangé in favor of free teaching and it is opposed to CED.

In parallel of its political activity, it continues a career in the private one, while taking part in various boards of directors from the General society of broking of insurances, the Real estate company and financial African, Multiplex, etc. He is also the literary director of Del Duca, editor inter alia magazines Us Two and Intimité . He does not represent himself with the delegation and Pierre Mendès France, president of the Council, appoints it general police chief of the French section to the World Fair of Brussels of 1958.

He dies in 62 years on December 26th, 1959, a few days after being struck of an mild heart attack at the time of a visit to the Elys3ee palace.
