Wire of an adviser to the Présidial of Aurillac, lord of Niossel, he is the author of four currently lost manuscripts:

• Life of François Chapt de Rastignac, royalist chief of the High-Country against the members of a league ,

One finds trace of a consul of Aurillac in 1395, also named Pierre de Cambefort.
