Pierre Spies
Pierre Johan Spies , born the June 8th 1985, is a player of Rugby to XV South-African which plays with the team of South Africa since 2006 and in the Super 14 with bulldozers. It evolves/moves like third line (1,95 m for 106 kg).
In 2007, he is regarded as one of the best South-African players evolving/moving at his station in spite of his young age: 22 years! Its qualities are its very high speed and its address balloon in hand, of the characteristics considered rare for before and register it in the line of some of its famous predecessors at this station like Bobby Skinstad or Joe Van Niekerk.
Winner of the Super 14 with bulldozers in 2007, it is announced like one of the players more in sights for the World cup 2007 in France.
Initially selected to dispute the World cup 2007 in France, it will be withdrawn from manpower and will be replaced by Bismarck of Plessis because of the presence of blood clots in its lungs. This affliction (probably genetic) could force it definitively to put a term at its career. Constrained to declare fixed price for the world cup, it ravelled in the streets of Johannesburg, to celebrate the victory, at the same time as its fellow-members. Pierre Spies will play super the 14 with his team of the bulldozers but will take again the drive only in December - January, before the beginning of the championship in February.
