Pierre Sotura

Pierre Sotura (born with Saint-Maurice on July 18th, 1930) is leading French Communist party.

Workman cabinetmaker, it adheres to the Communist youths in August 1944 and PCF in January 1947. He becomes member of the Central committee of PCF, secretary of the Seine-West federation then Hauts-de-Seine and mayor of the Island-Saint-Denis (1965-1971).

Member of the central committee since 1970, it there sits until 1996 and occupies the function of treasurer of PCF about 1982-1990.
