Pierre Schaeffer is a Compositeur, Théoricien and writer French, born with Nancy in 1910 and deceased with Aix-en-Provence the August 19th 1995. He is the father of the Concrete music and the electroacoustic Musique.

Biography
He is pupil with the Lycée Saint-Sigisbert, then with the Polytechnic school (X1929 Promotion), then at the University of electricity (Supélec) of Paris (1933), then enquiring at the laboratory of rtf (Radio and French Television). He is founder of the Group of Search for Concrete music then Groupe of music research (GRM) within the Research center of the ORTF, and the INA.
Perhaps, to embrace the whole of the personality of P Scheaffer would be necessary it to devote a whole chapter to its activity of resistant during the war, whose condition of recording of the musics of smuggling which will be diffused on the waves of Radio operator Paris that it will have contributed to take again with the occupant (infrastructures) and Vichy (emission). Like its place in the realization of the Emissions of Midnight name given in homage to the editions of Midnight. Besides these bands are at Radio France and would deserve to be republished.
Works
Pierre Schaeffer had created the research center of the ORTF. Arrived one moment when it was suggested to him making only music. At this point in time within this service was born Shadoks, whose simple graphics were appropriate perfectly for the one of the machines of this service: the Animographe, invented by Jean Dejoux about 1966.
