Pierre Rouanet , born the May 12th 1921 with Fontenay-sous-Bois (the Valley-of-Marne), is the son of a post-office employee become prefect and a teaching mother. Raise with the colleges of Poitiers and of Lyon, it is registered with the Faculty of letters of Toulouse from where it leaves bachelor of arts.

Beginning as political editor and parliamentary with the Democracy from Toulouse (1945), it integrates the Parisian office of the Dispatch of the South since 1947. Promoted chief of information, leader-writer and, in 1959, chief of the political service of the Toulouse daily newspaper, he parallel to collaborates various bodies of the written press ( Paris Match , the Express train , France Observer ) and audio-visual (ORTF, radio Switzerland, BBC).
