Pierre Rosenstiehl , born in 1933, is a Mathématicien French with the École of the High Studies in Social sciences of Paris. He is also member of the Oulipo.

Its work concentrates on the Graph theory: Rosenstiehl is known for its research on the traced graphs plainaires and graph. The Critère of planarity of Fraysseix-Rosenstiehl is at the origin of the algorithm of planarity left-right-hand side , implemented in the Logiciel Pigale , considered as the algorithm of fastest test of the planarity
