Pierre Riboulet

Pierre Riboulet (July 20th 1928 - October 21st 2003) is a Architecte and Urbaniste French.

Biography

Graduate in 1952 with the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the Art schools, Pierre Riboulet works initially within an associative workshop, founded in November 1958 with Jean Renaudie (1925-1981), Gerard Thurnauer (1926) and Jean-Louis Véret (1927), known under the name of Atelier of Montrouge (ATM), and whose quality of the production is greeted by the National Grand Prix of Architecture in 1981.

Starting from 1979, it undertakes an independent career. It ensures in parallel the teaching of a course of urban composition the National school of the Highways Departments (1979-1997).

Its production comprises great public orders: about thirty hospital, libraries or equipment of teaching. Its achievements are illustrated by the attention paid to the sites and the programs, the wellbeing of the users and the composition.

In margin of these projects, it also undertakes an activity of town planner, often taking care of studies of great width (the such Plaine Saint-Denis, 1990-1994, within Hippodamos 93).
