Pierre Quatrepoint (born the July 21st 1932 with Besancon, in the Doubs -) is a Militaire and a Historien French of the 20th century.

Biography

Pierre Quatrepoint studies with the military special École of Saint-Cyr military school (promotion “ Those of Diên Biên Phu ”) at the exit of which it joined the Army. He finishes his career with the rank of Colonel of the Marines.

With the return of a voyage to the Vietnam, it publishes a historical test - blindness, De Gaulle vis-a-vis in Indo-China , published in November 2003 - on on the origins of the Guerre of Indo-China. It sticks more particularly to the circumstances of the loss of the Indo-China by the France and blames the general de Gaulle. It reproaches to the chief of the free France, to have, in 1945, after the capitulation of the Japan, by its intransigent attitude, launched the France in an adventurous conflict to restore its Souveraineté in Indo-China.

Continuing to devote itself to historical studies, colonel Quatrepoint currently prepares a new work.
